[2025 Six Nations] Wales vs England - 15/3/25

I know the 6:2 split is much maligned on here but with our back row talent I'd love to see something like:
4. Itoje
5. Chessum
6. T. Curry
7. B. Curry
8. T. Willis

19. Martin
20. CCS
21. Earl
Playing week in and week out. Super reliable starters and bench players who bring massive impact. And that's not even including Underhill who, when fully fit and firing, has to start IMO.

quite like that, but by next year everyone will be screaming for Pollock, Pearson and Pepper

Agreed. If Underhill's fit, the 20 shirt becomes a bit more of a horses for courses shoot out between Ben Curry and CCS.

Don't think many will be screaming for Pearson. I like him a lot but feel like he's (justifiably) fallen by the wayside a bit, especially since he's playing at the same club as Pollock.

Yeah I've always been a big fan of Pearson but he's not been as eye catching recently as his backrow rivals - A squad feels about where he should be, but if we lose a couple of players to lions (I think we'll lose Turry and Earl) I think he'll probably make the summer side and get his chance to impress the coaches in training

Tbh England could pick for their back row (not including lock hybrids):
Ted Hill Sam Underhill Guy Pepper Alfie Barbeary
Fitz Harding Lewis Ludlow Zach Mercer Alex Dombrandt
Jack Kenningham Will Evans Chandler C-S Callum Chick
Tom Pearson Henry Pollock Burry Turry
Tom Willis Ben Earl

I caught the highlights and will watch the full game at some point. Much as I love seeing Wales pummelled, it was quite sad seeing Adam Jones. I did want a 2013 but reversed picture (cheers Olyy) but not with Adam Jones, always quite liked the guy.
100% agreed. While I was still at uni he came and did a few coaching scrum sessions with us. Don't think he was ever paid for them or anything, just did it because he felt like giving back. Was always super funny and informative. He'll always be a top bloke in my book.

Rumour has it, Jones' wasn't reacting to the loss, but after hearing from a drunk fan telling him this wouldn't have happened if Gatland was in charge.

Gotta imagine his race is run, sadly, after CCS going 60 in the row and Pollock impressive from the bench
Yeah he's waiting on injuries, or horrible form. He probably should have had a few more caps in some easy matches three years ago, but EJ always EJ'd
