[2025 Six Nations] Wales vs England - 15/3/25

England also have a dilemma in the back row now.

Earl
B.Curry
T Curry
T Willis
CCS
(Pollock a little back)

All worthy of starting....

I agree on your first two sentences, but 'rod our luck'? Really? We were dominant throughout and even if Murray was a little unfortunate to have a try chalked off, I genuinely don't think it would have made much difference.
Oh I'm reffering to the historic victory a few of our trys were quite jammy and lucky bounces. We deserved the victory no doubt.

It will be interesting to see if there's a discussion with England and Saints to get Freeman to move to 13 or if he stays on the wing. Or if this was just another show to prove players can play multiple roles.

It was certainly one of those games England got the bounces of the ball, not sure why anyone is complaining about the try that clearly wasn't, think commentary made a bit of a hash of the explanation if I understood correctly Wales 9 was offside and clearly affected the England play before he knocked it back, until the initial touch from the England player he was offside so not really sure why people think it's less than clear cut.

Underhill should not be written off or forgotten either and Kenningham is just waiting to be picked. If he is, he will step up.
Ah I'm a HUGE fan of Kenningham! I actually wonder if his injury has allowed him to bulk up slightly and become better. He absolutely MUST go on the summer tour.

Underhill is off to France isn't he in the summer. I thought that's why they took Pepper of us so nicely.

Absolutely glorious. Nothing better than putting those Celts in their place.

Lloegyr rhy hawwd.

Don't think he was as good as last week but was well worth his spot

If we want experience in the backline over the summer I'd be happier with him involved than Slade
Agree. I actually think now is the time to move away from Slade. And I think SB has done it.

We have options for the summer tour at 13 now so he's not an essential pick. Id take Daly for the experience, but also that he can cover so many positions.

I know. My bad.
But he was very good, has been since he came back in this tournament
I've always rated him, he was never anywhere near as bad as some make out, he's been a victim of his own versatility, people seem to forget how good he was at one point and made the lions tour.

Well we all love this result.

But

Once again we got lucky a few times out wide. The central defence is becoming a brick wall but we still have a few issues out wide. Not so clear today but still there. I'm sure the superb coaching team they are, they'll be looking in that ...and the personnel they need to fix it. 😉
