[2025 Six Nations] Scotland vs Ireland - 09/02/25

I'm wondering if he's more neck than head
Head on head contact can very easily lead to whiplash.
TBH and IMO whiplash is an underecognised component of concussion treatment - at shitty amateur level at least (activate partially addresses this, unknown to most players, coaches and even physios)

Ireland now blocking the kick en masse
Well, the ref has explicitly told them that he doesn't know that the law had changed, so yeah, keep doing it.

As ever, cheating is the oldest tradition in rugby, and probably the single most important skill.

So dumb from Aki there

He's leaking big time too, can't tell if there's vaseline on his head trying to stop it or if his hair looks like because it's bleeding so heavily
Bit weird they've not forced him off - would've thought the independent match doctor could request blood as well as HIAs

Oh, I don't agree with it. Just like I don't agree with 20 minute reds.
I quite like 20 minute reds, think it should go away to resolving cards determining games, I'd also like to see red cards cause bigger financial impacts to those that get them, which increase each time, of course there needs to be more consistency for that is to be the case.

And then POM gets two turnovers (one not awarded). He's been doing this to me as long as night has followed day.

Suspect that he passed the HIA, but then something was spotted on video review that made it an auto-fail
