[2025 Six Nations] France vs Scotland - 15/3/25

You know, I'd probably start Prendergast at 10 for the Lions. Less of a risk than Finn.

On that basis I'd start Fin Smith less of a risk than Prendergast
I should have expanded. I like Prendergast's kicking out of hand and general running of the game. He's more advanced than Smith at the moment there. It's only Prendergasts defence that's shakey at times. For another thread I'm sure in the coming months - just feel Russell is messy under pressure on balance of this performance.

I reckon if you gave Fin Smith a centre pairing made up of any combo of Aki, Henshaw or Ringrose rather than one made up of Dingwall, Earl, Freeman or Slade and he'd look absolutely world class.

Fair. The warm up and mid week games will be interesting as I think there's combos to be decided at half back. I'm guessing the Farrell factor may play a part too.

That's really not a natural way to get out of a ruck.

He can roll out, the normal way, he can get up without driving into France 6, he can stand up without grabbing someone's leg to give him more control whilst flipping him over.
