[2025 Six Nations] England vs France - 08/02/25

Stockdale was world class until that first injury...
Agreed but it was a recurring ankle injury and a bit of a freak one at that. Not many players lose a season in their first game these days.

Unlikely that to happen to Penaud and not something anyone would want to see.

There's something not quite right if you cheer opposition mistakes rather than your own teams good play.
This reminds me of the welsh u20 players last night, Italy missed the kick for the win and they started celebrating like nba players...

That's not what happened to Stockdale.

Penaud is also a different class again to what he was.
Pretending penaud will get found out when he has been doing this for over 8 years at this point...

Comparing him to stockdale who had one other wordly year...

You are right penaud is a differnt league and has shown it for years.

You think the scrappy play before Marcus got the ball is... because of Marcus?
No?

It's scrappy because players are swapping position and don't have instinctive clarity on what's happening so everything is stuttering, slightly off and inaccurate.

Slade was a Rolls Royce player until 21 (should have been on that Lions tour ahead of the Scottish yoke thing that went). In big 25 though, let the man rest.
England never made the best of slade when he was in his prime, but at this point he just doesnt offer anything of note. Not a defensive rock, no pace, even his kicking is sketchy.

I agree with you tbf, it was a bit of tongue in cheek, and a bit of hope lol...

Stockdale went from champ to chump bless him
