On his day, that's the issue. He's not just a 7/10 player although yeah he's not a 12.He has been decent, on his day... But he's not a 12.

With both wingers doing it, it's either a saints system thing they are getting wrong or an England system thing.Until England players stop biting and learn to trust the inside man it's doomed to leak scores!
Last I remember was against Ireland in Dublin in 2019.While I'd agree Slade isn't a 12 the fact that he's played at 10 a fair bit and recently for his club you'd think it would equip him well.
He's always flattered to deceive in an England shirt. I can only remember a hand full of performances he's had in all his caps.
Yes that's the only reason England arnt 20 points up….Are conditions shite? Hard to tell on the screen but it's been sloppy asf.
They're not great, wet and heavy even if it's not bucketing down. Are conditions shite? Hard to tell on the screen but it's been sloppy asf.
Assuming it's an England thing, I'd simply say look if you don't bite in and a try is scored by the inside man that's on the centre not the winger during analysis that's all you can do really ultimately if executed properly it's going to result in reflecting badly for the winger otherwise! With both wingers doing it, it's either a saints system thing they are getting wrong or an England system thing.

So six years of mediocrity at best.
Nah, just a bit of ****le. Game needs more of that kind of thing, not less. That's a penalty for me, shoulder off the ball on the touchline, no need for it at all. England don't need to be doing things like that.
I think he is a 12 but the problem is for his club he always plays 10 or 13 and never gets any experience at 12. I think you will also find that in this game Slade is still defending at 13.While I'd agree Slade isn't a 12 the fact that he's played at 10 a fair bit and recently for his club you'd think it would equip him well.

Yeah agreed, although I don't think angering Damien Penaud is a smart decision.Nah, just a bit of ****le. Game needs more of that kind of thing, not less.
