I'm thinking about his 2014 resurgence, when he went to an Olympic speed coach (Margot Robbie or something) and actually looked pacey for a while.

You may be right, but it's a depressing waste of one of the few players we have who can actually be argued to be world class.

It is always a shame when you have a good player who goes to waste, but this is a case of the whole team being better, and tbh, this system seems to be helping a lot of our other good players (still a long way to go but patience is needed and steve isnt going anywhere). I think we would struggle to find a system where all the good players are playing to their fullest potential so you have to make compromises and pick players for roles.

But yeah, he is still young, still time to move into a differnt position were he fits or improve his pace with alot of work if england is his ambition or go to france and make a mint while showing his talent. Seems a great guy, very talented, will have an amazing career regardless.

Also, I might just be way off and he is back and the fullback untill the next world cup, im just an idiot on a forum.

I'm not at all happy with the reffing at the breakdown. England can't catch a break and Ireland aren't putting a foot wrong, according to the ref. Instant whistle blows coming in.
