[2023 Six Nations] Wales vs England - 25 February 2023

Itoje anonymous? What game were you watching?
Well in tandem with his club hooker he lost a line out to AWJ so that's an automatic rating of -3/10.

Not anonymous but not stand out either, which has been his story for too long. Wonder if his own career trajectory and the increased athleticism and handling skills now routinely expected of other locks mean we should simply stop expecting him to be as influential as he once was and just regard him as a solid member of the team.

I think his mind is elsewhere, of the lure of the euro v staying in England.
His form is certainly down but still at international class.

The **** were those ridiculous subs today?

The RFU should've moved heaven and easy to get Scott Robertson, but as usual the 57 old Tory farts shat the bed and went for the English Eddie Jones.

I'm fed up of watching the turgid **** England churn out tournament after tournament.

He'll spend the week training with internationals, rubbing shoulders with heroes, and getting a variety of more one-on-one coaching; then on Saturday, he'll get 20-30 minutes of international rugby.

Had he stayed with LIrish, he'd have spent the week training with the same-old same-old, rubbing shoulders with the same-old same-old and getting the same-old coaching, sharing time with a greater number of players; then on Saturday he'd get 65-80 minutes playing premiership rugby.

If we want him to be ready for France'23, then he's got 3 more matches worth of meaningful international experience available; in addition to another 4(?) Prem matches. Alternatively, he can 6 weeks of the latter.

If any player gets more out of the latter than the former, then they're never going to make it as a pro (absent stratospheric levels of talent ala Caucaunibuca, who can make 50+ capped internationals look like schoolboys without any actual application).
If a 20 year old full back / winger can't learn anything from training and playing with Anthony Watson, then... I pity him. Thankfully, I don't think that's the case.
How much meaningful experience did Arundell get today?

62' kazoo yeah you can dan biggar
72' ball don't lie. Wasn't a legal turnover and then it was one of the worst lineup throws I've ever seen.
just last 15 minutes in general. Is anyone interested interested of playing rugby? IDK how Lawrence scored.

soy boy guardian being friendly with the ratings.

Glad I recorded that one so I could make copious use of the fast forward button.

10 points from Wales, 7 of which were from an intercept try. Exactly what I expected from such a tedious side selection at 15 and 10. Patchell and Jarrod kicking their heels at home presumably because they are considered less capable of mustering 3 points offensively. A complete joke. They desperately need Anscombe back (since he is actually ever picked) to provide options at 10 & 15 in terms of, you know, doing things that actually give you a chance of winning a modern rugby match as opposed to seemingly working to minimise the size of your deficit.

That English scrum half looked jittery the first time I saw him and nothing has changed there. I do owe an apology to Lawrence though, he can pass a ball reasonably when he puts his mind to it. So I'm not completely without hope for England if they can find better halfback options to unlock a pair of decent centres.

Except not as good.

Yeah you're almost as **** as us at the moment but you should at least try and come with some big dick energy even if you blow your load in 2 mins.
Also you're at a completely different level of **** than we are at the moment. Hopefully your BDE lasts longer against Italy than it did today.

Yeah don't fret too much, we'll blow our own feet off one way or another.
