[2023 Six Nations] England vs Italy - 12 February 2023

So if he rides up then surely that's the same as Antonio yesterday. Chest impact that rides up.

Willis might be POTM just after 25mins. Talk about putting your hand up.

Ref is hugely leaning towards England at the breakdown in this game. Willis had no release there but pinged Italy for holding. I just want to see it reffed consistently, don't really care who wins here.

I know there is an argument to be said this is Italy not Scotland but bloody hell does Willis look comfortable.

is he? seems to be allowing a lot of Italian buying the penalties for not rolling away when it's pretty obvious that the Italian 9 is looking for it to effect play rather than it actually doing so naturally, many refs don't aware that.

Just imagine a back row of Underhill TCurry and Willis
Add in Mercer and another Willis, Ludlam playing with form, and it's a real headache.

I don't think it'd be possible to pick an unbalanced, let alone poor backrow from those 6

The Chessum and JvP penalties were very clearcut, no buying or selling required

This sort of physicality is why I thought England would comfortably win last week (even though I thought Scotland had a good selection). I fear Italy can be ground down.

England really not gelling in open play, but early days.
