2023-2024 transfers

Can't remember if I said before but I just remembered I heard that you're signing Curtis Langdon's younger brother (also a hooker) - I'll be raging if that's true and we waste all our money on Dweba
It is odd that Sanderson seems to value lineout throwing so little in the hookers he signs. You'd think that with the type of game you play it'd be priority #1.

Michael Hooper retires from Aus Rugby

Honestly Australia have produced 3 of my favourite ever opensides
George Smith
David Pocock
Michael Hooper

Shame he never got a chance in the olympics to end it.
Loved the guy as a player my favourite of the 3 mentioned. A great player and ambassador for the game

Yeah, top player, top captain and by all accounts a top bloke too

Shame his international career ended the way that it did

Incredible that he is only 32, he could easily reach the 2027 world cup.

Never forgive Eddie Jones for omitting him from the 2023 World Cup. I know there was talk of a calf injury but it was confirmed after the tournament started he was fit and ready.

The backrow of Hooper and Pocock in the 2015 World Cup was just pure bliss.

What's going on here, then?

Was gonna say maybe he's joining Tigers but they've got the Aussie whose name I've forgotten joining - unless he was a McKellar appointment and following him out the door?

Sam James confirmed by Racing Metro

Genuinely a bit surprised he's gone there - like I love him, he's a sale legend, but I'd have thought Pro D2(/newly promoted to top 14 side) or Japan tbh

Hope he goes well
