[2022 Six Nations] Wales vs Italy (19/03/22)

Brace is Irish

Brace was born in Wales and apparently grew up between there and Ireland. He went to University in Wales and head a stint in Belgium where he played for the Belgian team but he's part of the Irish union so can ref Wales. Not the first ref to be in such a position.

Wales are not looking at the bottom of the pit... yet !
But they will have to do the simple things better.

He's actually welsh but based in Limerick. I think he's an excellent ref who is happy not to be front and centre in a game. Very unfussy and always seems to be well positioned.
Generally makes a few mistakes when I've watched him. Also don't like that he lets the ball stay in the scrum. If it can be used, get it out.

Wales don't deserve a win right now.
Not really convinced they deserve an BP loss at the moment.
Real pity that Ione got hit by white line fever when a simple pass would have been enough - and even just having the ball in both hands might have been enough.

This Welsh side scored 3 tries against England, that is how **** our defence is.

Italy really should have got at least 1 try from somewhere.

Tackler away but proceed to allow the turn over that poor reffing

How was that turnover good?
Navidi ripped it on the floor, no release at all
Did he rip it in the tackle? Need to see again as I agree I didn't see a release.

Italy trying to slow the game down at 65 mins was crazy.

Italy have been getting slower and slower at the breakdown. Wales looking like they could turnover at any ruck.
