[2022 Six Nations] Ireland vs Wales (05/02/22)

It's crazy how much space out wide there is for Ireland . It's like 18 v 15

Da Iawn well played Ireland . There will be stiffer tests but with the structure and team spirit ATM your gonna be tough to beat for anyone. Actually salivating at France v Ireland !!!

Ireland played well and were deserved winners, but Wales were very poor. Almost reminded me of the Champions cup.

Why is nobody talking up Wales? They were last years winners.

They beat us though because that's just England

I agree but Ireland have something special going . The winning run says it all they found their niche , got the right players everything coming together for them . I only see France being the bother for the Irish at this moment but let's see how the next game goes first...

Well done to Ireland, very organised, lovely running lines and attacking at times. A great team to watch at the moment. Would like to see an Irish championship as I think it'll be good leading up to the WC. Ireland didn't really hit the dizzy level of the ABs game but then didn't need to. Real test next week now!

As for Wales. Some really big tactical errors from the management, but also really lacking any intensity in defence or have any sort of ideas in attack. Didn't seem confident in many parts of the game. I don't think Biggar is the right captain personally as he isn't the man to be leading when we are behind. I think the prediction of 5th place is a pretty good one after that!

If Wales play like that again everyone (except Italy) is going to take a bp and it could get rather painful. Ireland looked a proper team today though.

I think Ireland were exceptional today, surely have to be in with a shout of the ***le if that level is maintained.

My mancrush on POM persists too.

The Johnny drop off is still very worrying.
100%. I don't see it with Carbery and in truth i never have.

I was keen for Ireland to give Sexton his bus pass in 2019 but you have to admire his ability to stay relevant. It's not even close between himself and the options.

Efficient in defence and attack by Ireland, thought Wales were poor.
Adams doesn't look a club 13 let alone for an International team.
Hard to judge how good Ireland are as the Welsh were so dire today.
Personally really looking forward to the Ireland France match to see where both are match of the championship for me.

Adams at 13 felt very much like '**** it, it worked with North so why not'
