AWJ more focussed on winding English players than playing rugby. Neither captain is leading by example.

He absolutely ****** us against France.
France lost penalty count 10-4 with most of them happening in clusters (I.e. three in two minutes) and close to their own in-goal. Never ever threatened them with a yellow. That was a game we were in until the last 20 and they should have had 14 men for at least 10 minutes.

he's the best kiwi ref at the moment so he'll continue to get big games but his rwc was Gardner levels bad.

TBF to O'Keefe he was looking pretty good pre RWC sure he had stinker of a tournament but he actually has potential to be a good ref unlike other dorks out there.

Fair, he's obviously a quality ref if he gets these game but to use the rwc as an example of his quality is like pointing to an Irish player's World Cup as an example of their quality.

Well didn't see that game so I'll have to take your word for it but anytime I've seen him he's been very good. Can't say I agree about Gardner though, anytime he stepped onto a pitch during the WC he was hopeless, O'Keefe had at least one definite good game.

Either way he's only 31 which is super young for a ref, Barnes for example was completely hopeless at that age. Loads of time to improve and (in my opinion) he's already better than a lot of the more established guys.

Exactly! Ireland reacted instantly and lost the head, Wales are just giving what they get.

O'Keefe talks. I like that he talks and explains. No player on the field can use the excuse they werent told. I do rate Pearce and Dickson as well for that skill.
