this is not the six nations, In some respects it's bigger
It's absolutely, 100% not bigger than the 6n. When NZ or SA come in the autumn it's not bigger than the 6n, how is a once off exhibition tournament bigger because we get to play Georgia? Some more enthusiasm please lads.
this is not the six nations, In some respects it's bigger, it is a unique opportunity to include two up and coming teams, in particular Fiji who beat France very recently in a great upset match and have talent to burn and a top coaching lineup.
Not really, this fixture was played already this year, both sides looked better then than their last outing. The result of this is fairly inconsequential and going by Ireland's selection building for the future doesn't seem to be a priority.this game is massive, a game between two of the top sides of the last 13 years, having won 8 six nations between them during that time, at four a piece. Two teams In a temporary lull looking to build back to the superpowers they have been. Who will strike first in that race? Who will draw first blood?
Leinster have lost once in 30 games, we're arguably more dominant than 2011-2012 just haven't got over the line in Europe this time round.Leinster hasn't been quite as dominant as in the past, At least in terms of results, but they Weren't too far off and will be bitterly disappointed with their result in the European championship. other Irish clubs also put in good showings this last pro14.
I'm excited for Lowe but outside of Leinster I really don't see why anyone else should be other than the class he brings, it's definitely not enough to make up for obvious failings elsewhere.James Lowe will play his first test. My wife asked me one time, must have been around 2015, who my favourite all black was at that moment, and I answered that my two favourite players weren't all blacks, in fact one was rarely in the starting lineup for the chiefs - that one was anton lienert brown, the other one was, you guessed it, James Lowe. This is a man who made a calculated decision to go to Ireland as he expected to have a short playing career since being diagnosed with arthritis as a teenager and being told by doctors not to play contact sports. A constant struggle to recover from games and training compared to other players, this is a guy that oozes share joy, who want to do what is right by his family, who loves the game so much he can overcome his pain, Who loves and plays for his Teammates, who will give it his all in playING for Ireland. This is the most important point, he will be enthusiastic for you, please be enthusiastic for him.
Hahaha. Haaaa face palm. Hit and miss I guess. I thought it would be clear by the end of the post that I had been exaggerating the importance of this game, playing it up, Making up pretty random narratives, in order to say that this test which is James Lowe's first is an important one, because I'm a fan of James Lowe and I Therefore want his first test To be seen as important.Lol, what on earth

It was too convincing haha! Probably unfortunate that the digs at AWJ were on the mild side for this forum.Hahaha. Haaaa face palm. Hit and miss I guess. Just remember, Ireland, James Lowe smiles for you!
Good to see Sheedy. No LRZ on the bench seems silly but I'm assuming it's cause North can cover centre (if poorly)
Agreed on Leavy. Obviously not an option for this block of games but depending on how his return to play goes 6 is definitely something to be looked at (already something Leinster tried back before the injury). There's a chance that it'll work better for him than 7 post-injury as well, but obviously that's all speculation at this stage. Still only ready for 15 minute appearances in the Pro14 it seems right now.Leavy's obviously at a very early stage in his comeback, but he could be a good option at 6. Beirne is the obvious option at this stage.
It's a shame Baird is injured because I think he and Ryan have the potential to be a great combination.
Stockdale has been in poor form for quite a while now, but I can see why Farrell wants to persist. He has the talent and the physical attributes to be a good fullback and with Larmour injured, I'd argue that there's possibly more to be gained by persevering than switching to Keenan or Conway.
