[2019 Six Nations] Wales vs England (23/02/2019)

wtf is Williams complaining about - he grabbed the ball and then dove on the floor, he didn't dive on the ball on the floor.
If Farrell isn't allowed to compete for that then all any ball carrier has to do is go to ground before they're tackled

You have to allow the player to get to his feet. Look at what May did. That is exactly how the laws are written. I wish the refs actually policed that aspect as it isnt just Farrell, its happened throughout the tourny. If they Policed it then it would allow for some potential to counter and open the game up a bit.

Wales just look completely unthreatening in attack.

This is my concern.

Anscombe never kicks this much so, as always, this is a classic Gatland tactic with the high ball.

Parkes getting a lot of poessession but taking contact a lot. In fairness, there isn't much of a structure in the attack so he hasn't had many options. JD2 still struggling for form.

Not sure what the answer is. In the last 5 years I wouldn't put it past Wales to come back and win but can't see where it's coming from at the moment.

What's happened to Tuilagi? Scarcely noticed him so far. Worried at the number of hits BV has already taken - hope he doesn't get injured again.

I dont agree entirely. Liam Williams looks like he is half a yard away from a Lions score everytime he touches the ball.

Yeah, but as Olly stated Williams, went to ground to avoid being tackled not to retrieve the ball...then he held on. Penalty to England all day long.

Our centres are currently the issue. And the kicking tactics.

Didn't actually realise that Davies was on the pitch tbh.

"Balls out - oh wait no, changed my mind, its not out anymore"

I think that was one of those where the ball is out so you can play it, but you have to stay on your feet if it's within 2m of the ruck or something?

Pleased with England performance so far, but still so, SO nervous

We are finding it very easy to rush up and cut down your options in attack. Think you need more lines being cut etc.

Only if they dive on the ball,
He caught it on his feet then dropped to the floor

Pretty sure you don't actually have to let players up, it's just ref shorthand for making sure players don't dive off their feet.

Some of our line choices are odd,
Daly running an inside line directly into Navidi and Owens
