[2019 Six Nations] Wales v Ireland (16/03/2019)

Still hasn't rained a drop yet... very un-Wales!

Heavy rain from 1400hrs and gusts of 40mph according to the Met Office. Let's hope Michael Fish is twiddling the knobs there because I'd hate to see the tournament decided by someone juggling with a bar of soap!

An inch of snow up here.

We really need a weather thread. :p

Aye, we're used to wetter rain than anything Wales has!

Yeah while our rain can cut a lovely line, has a world class fend and is rock solid in defence... your rain can do all those things and pass the ball so beautifully that the fellow rain drops don't even have to break their stride while catching.

Hang on I thought Vern Troyer was... oh right it's Peter Stringer!

Mad that SOB only has 55 caps... I know he's had his injuries but it feels like he's been around for ever.

Not shocked to see some Irish confidence... I personally just have no idea how this is going to play out. I'm always wary of a team coached by Schmidt, he's just so sharp... I'm just hoping that Warren has used his particular advantage of getting his teams psychologically right going in.

In the words of Michael Goldberg... HERE WE GO!

Best of luck both teams.
Obviously as an England fan hoping for an Irish win so we have a chance.
However I feel home advantage and a great defence may see Wales home but I expect it to be close.
Let's have a good un.

Ultimately, I just feel like Ireland have the higher ceiling.
That and more so rumours of training Ireland did midweek being up there as 1 of most intensive all week. They picked 2 teams and really let loose at eachother. Not sure if that is where Best got the shiner but yeah rumours were lads let alot of frustration out
