Sharks still without Lambie this week , are we maybe looking at a career ending injury ?

I heard Gold might be considering him on the bench this weekend. Has the team been announced yet?

Not yet, they will most probably announce their team this afternoon, but yeah, Lambie has been rumoured to play from the bench this weekend, as he has been training with the team all week so far. Butch James even said yesterday while doing commentary at the Craven Week that Lambie has been working hard on his goal kicking technique the past week, in order to be ready for the playoffs.

Saw on sharksworld that the team announcement have been moved to this afternoon

So the team have been announced

JPP captaining the Sharks in his last appearance at Kings Park

Further news is that if Lambie does not play this weekend he cannot play in the play-offs

He doesn't have to play, he just has to be in the matchday 23. So he could be a pedestrian and then let the Sharks just play with 22 players.

That was what i meant , sorry i should have chosen my words better i do feel it is stupid though as he is our captain

Ok so it seems that Lambie wont be eligible for the finals. le Roux, Dan du Preez and Paul Jordaan also seem like they wont be back in time.

The way they played last night they won't even make it past the QF so Lambie can rather rest for the BOKS

Thats why we needed these guys! Playoffs hopes not looking good. Lambie has been resting for the past two years.

Does not look like it he is made of bloody glass by the look of things , look to hard and he cracks, Bosch and Smith also can't play the QF and willie is out so who is going to play FB if Odwa I am going to skip that game rather , ATM we are playing a NZ side and they will smash us especially with our breakdown that is pathetic

Glad at least that the Sunwolves ended the season with a respectable performance rather than another mauling. They are good at 9 & 10 and okay in the backs of they have Yamada. They need more quality in the forwards and more focus on defensive coaching.

Next season is going to be even tougher for them losing their coach (who I think has done well with them) and facing a season against NZ teams rather than Oz. I hope there is somehow a top Kiwi coach floating around looking for a job and that the Sunwolves can stump up the cash to sign them for 3 years minimum. A new franchise in a new territory will never get anywhere without consistency in the coaching staff.
