Despite the Sharks having home advantage here, you'd say that's not too much of an advantage having to travel from NZ with the Canes having already made the trip a week ago, that's a massive bonus for us.

Can't really see the Sharks winning this one but it should be a good one!

Oh I don't know, I think the Sharks will be in a good mood after their rather successful tour in NZ. And to add to that, when they returned yesterday, they got the good news that Pat Lambie will be training with them from this week onwards and could even feature for them on the weekend.

It will definitely be a cracking match no doubt about that.

Heavy rain expected for this one. I cant really call it because what i knew at the start of the season i don't know anymore.
Plumtree also knows the sharks very very well (even more so than our own coach) so will be interesting to see how that turns out. And then there is the factor of the hurricanes only having to travel 500 km versus the Sharks traveling from NZ. Essentially this is a home game for the Hurricanes.

Heavy rain may just work into our hands a little with the Sharks tired factor.

Yeah home game in the travel factor - crowd not so much. Just don't really see the Sharks being dominant enough.

That was a very good performance from the Sharks! Glad Lambie is back. Hopefully we can push for 1st in the Conference

Sharks played their best game all season. If they keep playing like that they'll be dangerous but maybe left the surge a little late potentially, time will tell.

Think that was the kick up the ass the Canes needed. Our set piece was terrible which has been our weapon in previous games. Just hit the panic but too early and the Sharks pounced. Sharks evidently tired towards the end but they made sure they scored enough earlier to counter that.

I'll take 1/2 in SA but definitely the wake up call the Canes needed. Our first truly poor game in quite some time.

Sharks have improved 10 folds in the last few weeks, seems the NZ tour stoked their fire.

Both teams should have had a player carded in the first quarter. The Beast held back Perenara after he took the quick tap - completely cynical. Marshall should have also been carded for taking out Mvovo. It would have been a try for all money too, Hurricanes were very lucky.

This is what happens, when the sharks stop playing Jake White rugby, they do this every week for the last 10 mins, it's nice to see them do it for most of the game for once.

Jake White rugby works well under Jake White, but no one else has mastered it.
