The pick of the weekend's games. Really looking forward to this one.

Yeah as a Chiefs fan this is the game I feel least confident about so far, the Canes looking in great form.

Some really key battles for a few players this week, while it is early days in terms of AB's I reckon the selectors will be interested in how a few people handle the position while playing against world class players.

No one watching this?

How was Horrell's pass not forward before the Chiefs' 2nd try?

Still what a conversion by The Joker.

Pretty busy game so far, a drop goal and three tries.

Chief's second was a beaut, but looked to be off a forward pass.

Try time for Canes. Glad I got up for this one. Looks like this could be a classic.

What a start. I needed this to cleanse my eyes after SW vs Jaguares.

No Ngatai for the Chiefs; his shoulder must not have fully recovered.

The penalty count must be high in this game so far. I feel that Joubert refereeing is much more conservative than the super rugby average.

15-14 at half time to Canes. Both Chiefs tries were dodgy: first try with the grounding (was he in control for the ball?) and in the lead up to 2nd try Horrell's pass was definitely forward. Canes have been the better team so far imo, but Barrett hasn't punished Chiefs from the tee. Wind can't be helping, but the last kick should have been converted.

Pretty mean game so far, Chiefs lucky to be this close at halftime, Canes definitely playing better, Barretts kicking is ****.

Chiefs need to stop knocking the ball on, so much lost possession.

I haven't seen any of it, but I'll just remind you that a player in possession is not required to "have control", he just has to touch the ground with the ball while in possession. He doesn't even have to press down on the ball, that is only required is the ball is loose.

Haha, you should be having a word with Justin Marshall, he was getting a bit excited in the commentary box: adamant that it wasn't a try. My first thought when I saw it was it was a try.

Try time: one from Leitch under the posts and then Canes reply from Perenara. Barrett still can't convert.

Another try from the Chiefs. Mackensie making up for his offload which led to Perenara's try, by setting up that one.

Barrett needs a kicking coach, and McKenzie needs one of those black jerseys...

He is very slippery and consistently makes the right decisions. Alright indeed.

Chiefs not needing to worry about their discipline as there is no threat of conceding penalty goals right now.

Try time Canes. Great scrum from Canes and Barrett scores. Can he convert?
