Yeah, one of those Cheetahs tries shouldn't have been allowed (the rolling maul). But most of the Chiefs penalties were their own fault imo.

I'd be a little strict if it were me. I don't believe that opposition players should be allowed to get in cheap shoves and jabs and trash talk when a player from the other team is sin binned. If they're gonna be smart arses then the penalty can be reversed.

I agree with that for a penalty and it used to be quite common but not for a yellow. If a player gets legitimately yellowed they've just got to suck it up imo.

Cant remember the last time I saw a Ref reverse a penalty... someone should remind them of that.

I'm sure I've seen one or two reversed not that long ago at Super rugby level, it may have even been this year. But usually it's because a referee realizes his mistake. Maybe the odd sledging should be allowed, but that's about the 3rd weed in a row I've seen the opposition try to push or clip Tamifuna round the ears as a wind up. You can see what they're trying to do, but I reckon it shouldn't be allowed.

Did anybody else even notice SBW played in this game or is it just me? He was like the invisible man to me.

Nonu/Smith are shoe in's to start for the AB's upto the WC for me going on current form. Nonu in particular has been hugely impressive.
