[2015 RWC] Pool A: England vs. Uruguay (10/10/2015)

Love the Uruguayan #6 - proper chippy little ****er

Wonder if some of their forwards fancy consultancy roles with the RFU? They seem to understand how to ruck/compete for the ball and take the ball at pace.

This game really is sealing the fate of this coaching set up.

No exaggeration, no disingenuity - they're gone. 100%.

We are supposed to have a mobile, super fit pack yet whenever someone makes a break they are on their own.

Dads Army on BBC2 are making more forward moves than this lot!!

It seems like their training manual was from WW1. They've shown about as much ingenuity and made the same amount of forward progress.

Lancaster post match -

It was good to see players have they first game at a World Cup, it was good to bring them in and play them.

They were good honest lads who prob overplayed in the first half.

I was impressed by the maturity of this inexperienced team in a game where the pressure was huge.

There was moments when you play a bit to slow and want to force things but that is to be expected in a young squad.

They showed they were proud to be wearing the shirt and unlike 2011 feel honored to be here in the RWC, I made some risky calls but I feel it is the best for England rugby in the long run.

I feel this has been a good first step in building towards the 2016 6N's.
