Bulls will be without Flip van Der Merwe and Jacques Du Plessis for the rest of the season as both picked up injuries last week. Jacques broke his jaw against Namibia and Flip injured his knee, similar to the injury sustained by Arno Botha.

Louis Fouche is on his way to Japan, so I'm very interested to see how the team will look like. Maybe some of the baby boks to get a chance??

Bulls team has been announced.

2 debutants for the Bulls on the bench.

Glad to see Pollard starting beside Hougie. Maybe it has been ordered by HM.

Going to be a big game...

I reckon the Stormers might win it. The Bulls have a very poor loose trio and some back line players are undeserving of their places at the moment.

Go the Stormers :)

The Bulls are unlikely to make the playoffs, but a couple of bonus point wins could potentially put them above the Highlanders on the standings (which no-one wants to see :p). I'm not overly confident of the Highlanders chance of winning either of our two remaining games, so I'm just hoping all the teams below us lose their matches....

How unsportsmanlike of you... But yeah, the Bulls botched their chances losing against the Lions. This will be one very tough assignment. and we need the 10 points on offer from our last 2 games. But getting 4 tries against the Stormers, at Newlands, is damn hard. then we play the Rebels at Loftus...

I'd surprised if the Bulls manage 5 log points from newlands but that said we are fielding a pretty experimental backline and actually a totally B tight 5 and pivots with injuries to JdV, De Allende, Grant, Schreuder, Etzebeth, Malherbe, Ntubeni, Kitshoff etc..

But we've effectively had a B team the entire season so nothing new I suppose.

The Bulls lack a fetcher, we will suffer at ruck time, and not get proper front foot ball. Which in essence will dampen our chances of winning and scoring tries...

stampkar, doesnt require a fetcher... no need for delicacy...

When your side hasn't made the playoffs for 12 years sportsmanship doesn't come into it ;)

Before their loss to the Lions I was picking the Bulls to make the playoffs (at the Highlanders expense). They still have a chance though if they win this week without a bonus point (and thrash the Rebels next week), as I feel 42 points may be enough to (just) sneak into the playoffs.

Weather turning ugly real fast now. Tomorrow's rugby is not going to be pretty. No 4 try BPs this time round.
