2014 Super Rugby: Bulls vs Chiefs (Round 7)

Wow... Bulls almost give up a 19 point lead, Chiefs score three tries at the end of the match meaning it's a 34 all draw! And Chiefs scored five tries, so get three points out of the game, and Bulls only get 2... If only Anscombe hadn't missed the relatively easy conversion for the second last try.

Sorry lads. I couldn't see the second half because I'm watching: "Stade Francais - Racing Metro" for Top 14.

The draw is a fair result?

Great comeback by the Chiefs, a draw is always better than a loss. Good to see Milsie score a try.

Wow a great comeback, I almost turned the TV off around the 60th minute but I'm glad I didn't!
As Amobokoboko said, a draw is always better than a loss, but we have got to start doing something about rolling mauls! It was a problem last year as well and we always knew the Bulls were going to use that tactic. 2 tries and a yellow card conceded for rolling mauls is just not good enough.

I think this result proves how even this comp is some teams beat some teams and others beat others. The Chiefs imo are the weakest they have been for the last 3 or 4 years in the forwards so that is their weak spot. Every NZ team imo has pretty glaring weak spots this year that other teams will focus on its almost bizarre actually.

I really wonder why the New Zealand sides don't know how to counter the rolling maul. Equally as perplexing they don't know how to use it. Do you have any idea why?

I 'll watch the game later but a draw is better than a loss. . At least they'll be one new zealand team in the mix. I wonder why they seem to be struggling . Is it that when they play against each other they cannot achieve consecutive victories and hence their points tallies are being affected?

Was quite a good game, was quite worried when we were down by 16 with 10 to go.

Chiefs showed great depth and a fantastic belief, the never give up mentality.

The key thing they are getting points from every game on the road which is what you need, a win this week will cap off the tour nicely.

Chiefs were the real winners of this game, never giving up. Bulls really went to sleep, the subs were also awful. Mbonambi missing the tackle on Cruden that led to the final try, Marcel vd Merwe cant scrum! Stegmann again highlighted his value to the team. The ref was really poor at times, he clearly has no clue what's going on at scrum time.

Bulls had this one slip, was really expecting more from them at home.
Must say great fightback by the Chiefs.

what is it with the bulls coaches, when they have some sort of lead they ring on the changes... heineken meyer does the same thing for the boks and its costing them...

if they ban mauls form rugby.. how will the poor SA teams score tries :D ya bite me... mauls are the only attach the SA teams can offer including the national team...

the AB seems too have found a way to counter these mauls, which i see as obstruction in anycase, mauls are messy, you shielding behind players etc

i thought that try that was disallowed was a clear try

Technically scrums are also then obstruction....

I feel it has a part in rugby, just because certain teams cant counter it doesn't mean it should be banned.
