2014 Six Nations XV

This is a team of the tournament, though, not a team of the last few years. Ignore all previous form and base just on these games.
North has had a very quiet, and sometimes poor, 6 Nations (due in no small part, I'm sure, to having to play centre at times) - only really shone against Scotland.
Don't think Picamoles had a very good tournament either - Binny, Morgan, Heaslip and Denton were all better at 8. Faletau had a much quieter 6N than usual, but I think he probably played better than Picamoles too.

Oh Picamoles has got to win it, at least over Billy V, because he played the whole tournament first of all (except Murrayfield), we only saw Billy a couple of games, and was consistently making plays on his own, carrying like a monster, beating defenders, making runs, catching the high ball, countering, present in the rucks a lot, tackling hard...I don't think Billy is that omnipresent and I don't think Billy V created as much as a lonely Picamoles on a team that doesn't play together. Billy V would've looked more lost and confined than Picamoles had he been on France.

yes, de Marchi is one of the few bright spots for our Italian friends this year...pure quality at loosehead in all aspects for his position.

Can't see through consistency how BOD can get in ahead of Burrell other than sentiment tbh he was quiet yesterday and in the England game tbh

He outplayed Burrell in that game at the same time though. 13 would be the most difficult to pick between the two of those because while Burrell was very good against France and Wales I'd argue BOD was as good vs Italy and Wales.

Heres my go anyway:

Be interesting to know how many try assists each of them had . Did bod score a try this year ? Burrell scored 3 and both are very close maybe we should just call it a draw ;)
