so here is the start off making the other teams fixtures for the 2014 mid-year tests

So its not the greatest year for argentinian rugby and worrying about if they should stay in the rugby championship or not. my question is that did argentina even won a game last year ?. but it a shame though they use to have a strong squad especially in the 2007 rugby world cup aww what a team that was. they can definitely get back up they're they do have players with something special. i would love to see more off Santiago Cordero so much talent and some good individual running from him against wales and he is only 20 definitely a player to look out for in the future. Pablo Matera was a good player in the argentinian under -20 level and im sure would make a good impact to the squad and is also only 20 years old. im sure there are others aswell but none i know off.

so the fixtures for argentina is like this:

Argentina vs Ireland
7 June 2014, Time to be confirmed
Estadio Centenario, Resistencia, Argentina

Argentina vs Ireland
14 June 2014, Time to be confirmed
Estadio Monumental José Fierro, Tucumán, Argentina

Argentina vs Scotland
21 June 2014, Time to be confirmed
Estadio Mario Alberto Kempes, Córdoba, Argentina

vamos Pumas. I forgot what their coach situation was...they've definitely got the players on paper to be good again, they just need a guy to tell em how.

im looking forward seeing more from Santiago Cordero he was impressive against wales and really think he is someone that argentina will look forward too in the future

Argentina have loads of wingers and loads of fly-halves, and they just masquerade as the other back positions. Tiesi is about the only quality specialist centre they've produced in the last ten years. Thing is, I love their wingers and fly-halves. Ammorisino, Imhoff, Camacho and increasingly Cordero are amongst my favourite players. I love watching them play.

Are the Argentines being shoe-horned into putting out their A side for the Ireland tests this year?

I srsly, srsly don't understand why authorities persist in having Argentina participate in those tournaments. The Pumas, or their B or even C sides have been smashing the rest of Latina America for the past century...what the fk is the possible benefit of it ? I even composed a thread about this like a year and a half ago...was surprised by the number of posts against my stance.

Yeah but now is a new tournament, the tournament is divided into 3 groups without the participation of Argentina.

Group A: Uruguay, Chile, Brazil and Paraguay

Group B: Colombia, Venezuela, Perú and Ecuador

Group C: Costa Rica, Guatemala and El Salvador

And only the best two teams from Group A will face each year against Argentina. Last year, Uruguay won the Group A and Chile was the second highest ranked. Then they have the opportunity to face Argentina this year. 2 weeks ago he finished the Sudamericano 2014, Uruguay won Group A again and Paraguay it surprisingly came second beating Brazil, then next year Uruguay and Paraguay going to face Argentina. There is much difference between Argentina and the other teams but is the only opportunity for other teams from South America to face a Tier 1 team each year.

I understand, but there wouldn't be a point in Belgium facing France every single year for example. 'They grow from those repeated experiences', well fk no they don't, hell, those teams take a minimum of 60 points every single time, and this for the past, what, century ?? There's the proof right there: teams need to get a semblance of a better level before this can happen. There's literally no point in playing Uruguay and Paraguay and Iamgay and co., not for Argentina, and not for the opponents.
You put 60 points on a team, it means you annihilated it. There wasn't a chance from the start. No point.

Yeah but remember that we don't have a professional championship like Top 14 or Premiership and we don't have 5 neighbors of Tier 1 as you. Our players who don't play in Europe but are hired by the UAR and trained as professionals need games. These two games against Uruguay and Chile, are a nice opportunity to try the coach team to face Ireland and there if the game will be very difficult, Ireland is the favorite. When we'll have our own franchise in Super Rugby, our players going to play for 6 months against the best players in the SH and will not need to play these games.

It's not PERFECT but it is what we have. Everything would have been easier if the 6 Nations countries had accepted us in their tournament, but apparently some teams are afraid that The Pumas could win the 6 Nations in few years.

fair enough for the Argentinian players needing to play matches.
As for what you said about Argentina and the 6N, you remind me of the Turkish trying to infiltrate the EU :D

Who the fck in Argentina would buy a ticket to watch us getting smashed in these tests!? seriously UAR wtf don't make tests with 6N sides in June ffs, it's disrepectful for the fans.

Not sure I agree with that. Regular exposure to better teams helps you identify areas that need to improve be out structure, physical elements whatever... Paying the same old same old send teams no where. They need to aim higher to progress.

oh, I agree with that ! It helps you identify EVERYTHING ABOUT YOUR TEAM needs improvement, good call ! ;)

They suuuuuuuuure do !...

agreed...Argentina hasn't fielded competitive summer sides since 2010 (when they SMASHED France ! :p ).
Those June tests now are so overlooked by the Arg staff, it's just a joke. The whole tour. Having France and then England come over to put 50 on them in their own backyard, seeing their scrum backpedal 50m...how the fk do you justify that ?
In life, you do things (well) or you don't do them at all. There's nothing in between. And I can't imagine fans are happy about going to see a semi-light selection Ireland team beat the crap out of their home team, a June beating for the third consecutive year.
