I am going to assume you meant to say 'wouldn't'. But I wasn't boasting; I was merely pointing out the fact in response to your saying SA is poor on the road and I'd say it disqualifies your remark entirely. Back on topic looks like a few of the 'non-core' Bokke will be playing in the CC. Hope they stay fit. Jaco Taute I'd say has shot his chances of a call up to bits much like the hotel he stayed in while Nizaam Carr and Thomas du Toit have been touted by the media as looking like Bok candidates and TBH I wouldn't begrudge either of the two a call up to understate.

other then results... i look at performances... so yes, very poor... its not about the result, its how you achieve it...

Why bother. If we all add him to the ignore list, then we won't have to see his kak comments, and the thread will flow so much better, and actually stay on topic. Instead he gets us all riled up saying the same old crap as always. I'm starting to think he's a bot who randomly copy and pastes the word Stampkar into varied sentences...

I have to admit that it is really hard to ignore a troll. anyways i agree with previous statements in this thread that if we dont win all our matches abroad then it should be considered a failure. HM and Jdv has stated on a regular basis their desire to become the best in the world. if we are going to become the best in the world then we have to win these game in order to be able to challenge the all blacks. I see us getting the grand slam.

Report suggests Morne Steyn won't be part of the 36 man squad for the EoYT. It states only two flyhalves (Pollard and Lambie) will make the squad. Does that suggest Pienaar will be seen as utility cover only (he's played 9,10 and 15 for us) with Hougaard and Reinach the first choice scrummies? I hope so..

Hmm... That article doesn't say a lot. Maybe Goosen will also get a call up? Or Pienaar as the back-up Fly Half. but with that said, It has happened in the past that if a guy gets injured, a replacement is called up and flown over the following day from SA.

TBH I wouldn't mind seeing something like 12)Serfontein/13)Fourie assuming Fourie is fit which I doubt though. Always good to have option though I think Serf and De Jongh are our form centers. Crazy JdJ probably doesn't have a chance to get into this squad. It's not as if JdV is a better defender than JdJ with his extra bulk and De Jongh is electric on attack ATM. I'd rate JdV our 4rth best center. Reminds me of John Smit 2011. Will HM have the balls to bench De Villiers though and have Matfield or someone else captain the side?

I agree on De Jongh, he has been stellar in the Currie Cup, but for me it's a pity that Burger Odendaal broke his arm. He has been a revelation at 12 for the Bulls. I would have loved to see him join the Boks for the EOYT. Can you just imagine the Bulls backline for next season's Super Rugby Tournament:

14. JJ Engelbrecht
15. Jesse Kriel

Anyways back to the Bokke. We have always had good centres, and it's an area we are not running low on stock. I like the amount of competition for this spot, and it's maybe unfortunate that it's a position taken up by our captain...

Yeah, Odendaal has been impressive. He is one of the young guys I'll be keeping an eye on next year's SR. I am very excited for SA's backline post RWC2015;

21 Lambie / Boshoff / Goosen (looking alright at RM92 and all can cover 15 well so we can have a center/wing on the bench)
