Sounds like we were well on top for the first 20, then just decided to concede penalties constantly for the 2nd 20. Falcons not threatening the defence in the slightest, apparently, but they don't need to if we're just going to concede constantly.

I've been watching the Quins/Saints game on and off. It's one hellava mess, innit? Still, I've seen muddier games - is that all natural turf, or a mix?

I can understand that but one of those games that you have to have an interest in on eof the teams to really put up with what the weather did to the error count caused by the rain on the natural turf (Das!).
Thought overall Saints were good value for their win but is Dowson really now a premiership player?

I was curious about the turf because of that mudbowl last winter between Biarritz and the Quins. Remember that one? I saved it on my DVR because it was so much fun to watch!

That's an excellent win for Newcastle.
Saints did enough to win in bad conditions, North looked decent when he had the ball. Nice little run along with Myler and Elliott.

I thought Saints actually looked pretty strong given the weather, Quins looked better than last week..
Gotta agree re: Marler... he's looking massive compared to last season.
Dickinson looking like a future household name.
PDJ looking like the brass player he is.
Exactly why I cannot understand why he is involved with England at this point - he is utterly incompetent as a scrummager.
Matt Dawson is going to be receiving a death threat if he doesn't step down from his role at BTS with immediate effect... Utter **** coming from his mouth.
