Week 3 of the Currie Cup sees the Natal Sharks play their 3rd consecutive Friday night game when they travel to Bloemfontein to take on the Free State Cheetahs. After beating the Lions last week, the Durban team will look to overcome their Free State Jynx and bag the points. The Cheetahs team loses scrum-half Piet van Zyl to the Boks who travel to Argentina. This could see the inclusion of talented Kevin Luiters on the bench. The Sharks are still without captain Keegan Daniel and it looks like there won't be any changes in the starting line-up.

Saturday will be a triple-header with the Griquas hosting the Western Province team. Lourens Adriaanse, who announced he'll be moving to Durban at the end of the year, is travelling with the Boks and leaves a whole in the front-row difficult to fill. Adriaanse is arguably the stand-out prop so far this Currie Cup. Can Griquas win without him? WP gets Juan de Jongh back, giving them a massive boost.

The Currie Cup season ends with the Golden Lions playing the Blue Bulls at Loftus. For the Lions it's do or die, so early in the season. To get to the first 4 teams and make the play-offs, the team needs at least 5 wins. Losing this weekend will mean they have 7 games left to get to that amount. Taking on the log-leading Bulls, makes it a difficult task, but not impossible.

Once the Battle of the Jukskei ends, everyone will settle in front of the tv to watch the Springboks take on Argentina in Mendoza.

Griquas at home have proved to be tough matches tow in. I am not even considering points difference ATM (our's a very lonely +1) and just hope we can get the win.

My other hope s that Swiel gets some quality time at the helm. Pity about Howard.

Sharks-Cheetahs match will probably be the game of the week.

The Jukskei-derby is a nice appetizer to get warmed up for the Bokke.

Just glad to see Vleis in the Bulls team.

16. Bandise Maku, 17. Marcel van der Merwe, 18. Wilhelm Steenkamp, 19. Jacques Engelbrecht

That's a bloody good bench of forwards to have at this level. I just can't see the Bulls losing to the Lions which would see them winless after 3 rounds!

Although the Lions were involved in close games it should be a worrying them they are losing to teams without a lot of Springboks. If they carry on they will again be cellar dwellers in the S15.

All tough games to call, I predict Cheetahs, WP and Bulls victories

Outstanding. McLeod charged down right after kickoff, and subsequently a penalty against us.
Tw@

Idiots. TAKE THE POINTS. TAKE THE ****ING POINTS. 9 points is not an impossible deficit with 60 minutes to play.

Anyone else watching "The Jason Jaftha Show"? What a moron. Acts like he's the King. Very arrogant little prick who doesn't know how to officiate a game properly.

No, I am watching Cheetahs v Sharks. Jaftha isn't a great ref but his 'awfulness' is way overblown.
Nowhere near as poor as say Peyper.
