I don't actually recall him playing any games there... Maybe one or two, but I don't think he's started any at 13.

Smith has had 4 starts at centre for the Highlanders (http://www.foxsports.com.au/rugby/player/situational-stats?id=961&name=ben-smith&team=50003). If I recall correctly one of these was in 2010, and the other three were in 2011. He has had half a dozen starts for Otago in the 13 jersey in the ITM Cup too (most in 2010).

Hes also played at 12 for nz barberians and I think even for abs vs scotland at scotland one year recently, were he scored a meat pie.

Oh dear! Both QC and Cruden are confidence kickers, not good for NZ that Cooper slotted that penalty and Cruden made a right pigs ear of his!

I dunno about ferocity they were just downright pathetic in the previous two games. They are up to par in this game. Sam Cane is kicking their ass by himself atm.

We need to look at a new front row. With Franks out these other suckers are either past it or just not good enough. Woodcock is done imo. We are actually getting dominated so far in the scrum imo which is downright ridiculous.

Going to be very intresting to see how it goes against the decent french pack and england.
