So that's what a Leinster team missing 17 to the international squad and more to injury looks like. Not the worst side imaginable, still not a wow side. Hopefully it goes well.

Honestly baffled by how Peter Fitzgibbon is still a professional rugby referee...
Utterly useless, pretty much just penalised Jevon Groves for competing for the ball in the line on

Edit: and again ignores 3 Leinster players diving off their feet, Lewis Evans looked on his feet too...

And missing a still maul going forward, he's hopeless.

I know it's been said before but the Dragons' forwards just cannot scrummage.

Is this Fitzgibbon reffing or an actual gibbon on day release from Bristol Zoo?

Jesus christ, it's only been 10 minutes and Sir is by far and away the most noticeable person on the pitch. Less than ideal.

Keep an eye on Aaron Dundon tonight. He's something of a Leinster unsung hero. Good scrummager, very good thrower, classic hooker.

Leinster need to cop on.

Am I the only one who saw Screech pulling Ruddock down while on the ground?

At least that was slightly inventive.

Hard for the back line to be creative with the service they're getting. Last two times they've gone down into the Dragons' half Cooney and Gopperth have sent out some horrendous passes.

Yeah, I agree with O'Shea we need to smash them up and then with an actual lead go wide.

EDIT: Fitzgibon I will punch you. That is ****ing annoying.

Aha, there we are. Two quick tries, one from my boy Dundon and Reid going over after a Zane break.

That's killed what could have been match winning momentum for the Dragons, daft from Telai, should've left it be

Dragons should have won that, that sinbin was a massive gamechanger

I only saw the last half hour and cant really comment much so Ill say two things, a positive and a negative.

Negative: Cooney's stupid ****ing box-kick on their 10m line in the 77th minute to let them in it.

positive: Kirchener looked like a real good honest player.

Can't help but feel that pedantic decision at the end cost them. That said, Fitzgibbon is at least consistent, if ridiculous, with those type of calls...

Am I being ridiculous in thinking that Macken was blocked when trying to tackle before the final break?

We were poor in our decision making and the Dragons hsould probably have won. Still there was a chance for a four try bonus point. I feel if we had gone to the corner instead of the Gopperth kick that hit the post we could have mauled over leaving 15 minutes for another try and the Dragons disheartened.

Cooney was poor. I had high hopes for the guy, but I don't see him being more than a stop gap measure from here on in. Time to invest in McGrath me thinks.

So, positives. Line out went well. 2 tries. 4 points on the road with 17 guys away. Martin Moore is an animal, rossy has a hell of a fight ahead of him! Zane looked good, certainly a better player than people predicted (not me, of course)
