It does kill it... almost everywhere technically. The fact that Sony will utilize Blue Ray is a major factor aswell.

Is someone able to compare these stats to the current PS2, such as able to have 5x as good graphics as those number really mean nothing to me.

Apart from Blue Laser technology. Isnt that like 20 gig on a DVD or something?

Seeing they are gonna be so advanced is it going to take companies ages to produce games?

Aparently it's called Blue Ray and can store up to 50 gigs per DVD!

well if you watched the conferences from e3 i put up the playstation 3 is a super computer so is the xbox 360.

Sony showed a bar graph which compared the Floating Point Calculation(FPC) of the Xbox 360 core(s) compared to that of the PlayStation 3 and the Cell micro processing unit. The Cell is 35 times faster than the Emotion Engine as well as twice as fast as the Xbox 360's respective core(s).

so that gives you an idea of how much stronger the ps3 is to the sony playstation 2

so you can see xbox will not deliver true HD experience even though they said this is the HD era

yea there alot more amazing things just watching sony's e3 conference gave me headaches lol especially how the new eye toy works i just didnt thik it was possible devil may cry 4's graphics were also impressive but yea killzone really impressed me.

in the press confrence it showed how the cell works alone even with graphics and damn it looked awesome i loved the fight night round 3 demonstration on the ps3....again i spoofed my pants....ive gone through 3 pants during watching the press conference.......i cant wait for rockstars gta on ps3 cos i love their story telling skills and what they showed about graphics for faces and face expressions for characters was amazing!

ahhhhh i want one NOW! DAMMIT NOW!!!

another thing the gateway for ps3 should be good they showed the power by revealing of how hundreds of ppl on screen have theyre own personal lives to tend to it really did look like london.

there so many trailers that look great keep in mind sonys not done and just imagine the graphics 5-6 yrs from now when the sony is at full power just the same for xbox 360 and nintendo revolution.
