[2019 Six Nations] Ireland vs France (10/03/2019)

Nice to see Ireland regaining some of their intensity and focus - this game should be out of sight. I'm liking what I'm seeing from an Italian perspective.

O’Mahony is pack leader and captain only is completely at the refs discretion.

Also totally right to stick up for his players.

Ringrose makes such a difference.

Pack leader, but not captain. Best is captain and also plays in the pack.

Is Murray scrum half leader, so he’s allowed to bark in the ref’s face too?

My hope was a dominant Irish performance to build confidence for next week. They are dominant, but it's not a confidence building dominance as they are butchering opportunities and being made to look good by a woeful French side.

I hate criticising referees but Ben O'Keeffe is having a nightmare. He had the best view on the field yet didn't back his judgement for the Garry Ringrose knock on. Final warning for France yet three penalties later, they remain at 15 men. While I don't like player backchat, any team would be frustrated by his decision making today.

Refs who only let the captain talk to them are always absolute gash, completely artificial way to attempt to control the game.

French exit plan reminiscent of playing World League with the **** starting 10 in Rugby 08
