[2016 RBS Six Nations] Round 4: Ireland vs. Italy (12/03/2016)

Joe said Mads was there for his versatility, however this Six Nations has only replaced Sexton.

You think the amount of experience and confidence McCloskey could get in this game considering how Italy are playing.

Trimble looks slow and the way the game is going Gilroy would really enjoy the open field game

Agreed, should have blooded some more of your younger players against this.

I can't believe they have a no.10 who's 3rd choice for his club.

Madigan comes on and costs you a try haha

Come off it, Madigan's had a good start and we're playing the type of rugby that everyone calling for McCloskey and Gilroy want. McCloskey will come in by the end of the year and Gilroy might if he's good enough. There's little to criticise here though.

Nice try from Italy.

Italy are still awful despite all the efforts of World Rugby to unfairly prop them up.

The Romanian reserves only lost 44-10 to Ireland at the RWC (starters were rested for the important match against Canada).

Can we now please drop the "Italy are improving" comments? Italy have shown once again that they are way below the standard of the rest of the teams and what defence can be made of their participation in the 6N? They are whipping boys people compete to bolster their points difference.
