Of course, but now that Rhys Patchell has left I think Cardiff see him as no.1 for the 10 jersey. Cardiff dropped an in form Patchell to accommodate Anscombe at ten last season. I'm wondering whether that was part of the deal of coming here.

In saying that, he hasn't played under Danny Wilson yet, so who knows what might happen. Competition is good either way.

You've had worse! Maybe if he was in a better side than Wocester he could have developed more and made it, his improvement at a Leinster has been outstanding. If he had the distribution skills he'd fit right in at international level as he's a great runner and solid defensively, Lancaster would have loved him!!
