Name one better.
He often goes into tackles with second or back rows and stops them. Dead in their tracks.
A 45yr old semi-crippled Wilkinson is still ten times the tackler.
Sexton is a good defender, but taking over from ROG makes him look better.

This is going to be one hell of a game, and very close! I like both teams, but for the sake of the Scottish fans sanity i hope they win. From what i heard they should have beaten France, because they played really well. Maybe this is it.
It's true though. Despite his age, and injuries, Wilkinson is still the best tackling 10 around.

That's not entirely true is it?
Wilkinson in his time was perhaps one of the best defensive fly-halves in world rugby, but having seen Sexton in the 6N he is on par with Wilkinson. He (Sexton) stopped North in full flight, when the others were bounced off, if i remember correctly from the Wales match.- Joined

He'll never be as good a defender as Wilkinson, Butch James or Dan Carter mostly because of his awkward body. But he is a good one in my opinion

Not me, I don't really like Wilkinson, certainly not in an England shirt (he's all right for Toulon).
Would have to be pretty blind to say he's not a fantastic tackler though.

That's not how a Geiger counter works (typical Feicarsinn responce is typical)
Wilkinson was a fantastic tackler, Johnny 10 is a good tackler. Let's all be friends.

To be fair....Jonny W was such a good tackler it hampered his carreer.
