Well all news in our local press suggests that PDV will keep Francois Steyn at 12. That one change alone is MASSIVE for our whole backline, especially with Lambie filling in at 15.

Also, with a bench including Willem Alberts, Bismark du Plessis, Francois Hougaard, Jean de Villiers, Beast and CJ, we are going to have MASSIVE firepower on for the last quarter of our matches. I am getting rather optimistic about this tournament as it progresses... Francois Steyn is going to pummel Quack Coophead.

How can a team be overrated when it's supporters apparently have no confidence in it? ... and you're right, it shouldn't matter who the All Blacks have to play from the quarter finals onward ... fortunately, they always play to win, so all of this talk about throwing matches to get a theoretically easier side of the draw is irrelevant.

I don't actually feel any pressure, and the pressure isn't on the All Blacks yet, is it? ... if the All blacks got rolled by France, they'd still make it through to the knock out stages, wouldn't they?

... I don't have to imagine what state they are in ... they look quietly confident to me

As for your final choking remark, I guess you've got the best of both worlds, where, if your team loses, you've got the chance of getting some satisfaction out of seeing the All Blacks lose

I personally won't get any satisfaction out of seeing another team lose (good luck to all), but will be happy if the All Backs win

they will give us problems, iv no doubts about that, especially after declan kidney talking too soon about what side of the draw we would be in after beating the wallabies. im sure nick mallet will make that clear to his team & i expect nothing less than an onslought from the azzurri, however i still dont think it will be enough to beat ireland!!

I agree - Italy will likely cause Ireland problems and are to be respected. Hopefully our confidence has been building from recent performances and our quality is too much though.
