Hurricanes v Chiefs

Pleasantly surprised. Not a bad game.

I think there have been more errors in this game than actual completed passes/scrums

However it is end-to-end stuff, with some good running by the wings especially

Yeah the game was pretty good to watch live. The outside backs were very lively! I took a mate from Dubai who had never been to Westpac Stadium or ever watched a game of rugby! Was a good first game for him to watch. time for a few brews.

Tana has been vary impressive. I was a bit unsure when it was announced that he'd be playing SuperRugby but he's keeping these boys on their toes with some big hits and nice touches of brilliance...

Yeah Tana was good. It was great he got a good applause from the crowd as he left the field. What a legend.

Was also at the game, pretty good one in the end, first time I've been to the Cake Tin for a few years :). I thought Taylor and Savea for the Hurricanes played very well considering their relative inexperience. Saw more of them than guys like Smith and Jane, in attack at least, both were impressive in defense as usual.

The Hurricanes are heading up to Auckland next week to face the Blues. And they're probably heading for a loss, since the Blues seem to have got their trademark hot-cold form going early on this year and are due for a good game next weekend :p.

hah only messing its from challange 2011 ps. i hope they have licensed teams from europe in the next rugby game.

I only caught the very last moments of the game last night due to working late. How did Hayward go and who were the standouts? Do either team have a chance to be title contenders based on last nights performances?
