Kriel asking for a yellow card for a Springbok knock on, even after seeing it on the screen
Boks take the second test. I was surprised how poorly the All Blacks replacement forwards played.Didn't quite live up to billing that one.
NZ had them at arms length all game and will be disappointed with the scare to finish I imagine.
He wasn’t great but it wasn’t the reason they lost. Karl is just not good. And his inconsistencies are blatant.Jean de Villiers crying about the ref LOL typical.
By that standard every ref ever is inconsistent including Nigel Owens. He wasn't great but it wasn't the reason they lost. Karl is just not good. And his inconsistencies are blatant.
I actually thought Dickson had a decent game. Yes it was a tight finish - but, as a test match, I thought it was quite mediocre. Ellis Park 2013 it wasn't. I think the score flattered the Boks - the All Blacks were by far the better team. Even though I didn't think the ABs were amazing, they at least looked like they knew what they were trying to do, and at least they had an attacking shape. SA looked poor, Pollard had a stinker - got to start SFM next week. This is not the Springbok team of the last 5/6 years - they look well off the pace and I'm not sure Tony Brown's input is actually helping. Having said that, I think you'll see a hell of a response next week - Rassie will read them the riot act after that one.
These things take time. Rassie has identified something in his player pool and got Brown in to effect it. SA don't care one bit how they do two years, even 12 months out from a WC. They'll be there or thereabouts.
Not something I enjoy saying or want to happen, but I've seem this one too many times before.
