It was a tight final. Spain shaded the first half and England the second. Thought Spain were better in ET but couldn’t find any finish.

Pens - well after the first pen, thought Lionesses were toast, who knew Spain would be even worse at Pens.

Certainly not a given. But well done to the Lionnesses for being the first England team to win a major tournament on overseas soil.

Spending big and on some quality players. Think it’s Liverpools to lose. Should be a good 3 way battle this year if City sort it out, which you’d think they will.

Well you say that but spent big so far. Think Liverpool leaving themselves a bit short at centre back after selling Quansah. Gomez is injury prone. Konate looks like he’s holding out for Real next summer on a free.

Plus all this talk about Isak but I am sceptical Liverpool will be able to afford him even after selling Diaz to Bayern. Nunez needs to go but clubs will take the **** and not pay the full transfer fee value. One that Klopp definitely got wrong.

Then there’s still grieving over Jota. That’s gonna take a while and one of those intangibles.

Clubs can't have it both ways with players that haven't performed, and his performances haven't warranted any club taking a risk on paying big money for him.

I mean that's Liverpools problem isn't it, you can expect any other club to give them more than what they value him at because Liverpool have essentially made a loss.

5 goals in 30 games last season, it's not like he hasn't had a chance. Nothing there warrants anyone breaking the bank.

My hometown team San Diego FC is in first place in their inaugural season of Major League Soccer play. After 25 matches in the books they have a one point lead over the Vancouver Whitecaps. I hope they can hold on and win the Western Conference in their first year of existence and maybe even the MLS Championship. Whether they do or not it's been a very exciting season. Let's Go San Diego!

Liverpool lack balance with so many new faces. Two attacking full backs and then no Gravenberch to help control things in midfield and provide protection to VVD and Konaté. Szoboszlai gave the ball away too much in midfield.

Still, exciting game to watch v Bournemouth but title race is going to be a lot closer this year.

West Ham and The Cobblers getting beat yesterday. Think it's going to be tough for both clubs.

WHU defence looks really slow, and we don't have many goal scorers in mid-field. Can definitely see us in a relegation fight.
