3rd test - Australia v British & Irish Lions

Aus locker room looks so much more focused than the lions

Lions are chatting, leaning etc, Aus have a huddle, laptops, ball handling skill work

How dangerous is it really? Do we have a metreoligist in the house?

My rudimentary understand it its way way more likely to hit the stadium of a nearby building than a player.
The big danger is not direct hits - it's side flashing. The lightning will travel through a structure and jump across the gap to someone. Imagine it goes down a post and jumps across to a player

Attitudes seem to be that it's one teams final, the other team it's the game before a big night out with the trophy they've already won.

This was my fear when seeing Farrells selection.

I'd have much rather seen players who wanted to prove something, Stuart, Cummings, Morgan, VDF, VDM etc

FWIW, I'd imagine the lightning thing is a one-size-fits-all from world rugby, given that it's the same in Aus and USA.

Which means it's the same for a club with a large open expanse where the posts, are the highest point for half a mile around, as for an international stadium with metal cantilevers for the roofing

USA system is very simple. Lightning = no play. Everyone takes cover.

Soccer, football, lacrosse, rugby, etc.
