Premiership 24/25 - Round 10

3 back rowers on the bench, one of whom is expecting to spend some time on the wing.
A starting backrower picks up an injury in the opening 10 minutes.
Replace him with your wing cover

Genius
Is an odd choice - Underhill only got 15-20mins in him? And if so why have him on the bench at all?

Could just be that they want the extra mobility with the way Saints are playing

Coles hasn’t had a great start to this season. Given quite a few penalties away and not looking himself. Such a good player but needs to get back on form.

I think it's just "we've game planned this to not use and backfield replacements, and well play it out as if we won't use any backfield replacements"

Bayliss for Pepper is fine.
It's doing that early, with a 7:1 bench that is too risky (mins, the 7:1 is too risky regardless)

I was about to say the ref called the wrong offence - but he was right, never held in the tackle, so allowed to crawl.
Just not allowed to keep hold of the ball once actually tackled.

Border line sin bin for Lawrence. Late, not attempt to wrap. Maybe I'm being a bit precious
I know, for the most part, things aren't reffed on outcome - but a very late (no arms) hit that injures the player and leads to an immediate sub does feel like it should be more than pen only
