Usually at a finals tournament I engage myself with the "anyone but England" attitude (and if you have a problem with this and/or want justification I can assure you the conversation will not be satisfactory) but I couldn't even bring myself to want Iran to win here.

A penalty but why wasn’t two of England’s players getting rugby tackled in the first half not?
Overall very happy with that. Would have been happy with a 1-0 win. 6-2 was beyond my expectations. Played very well - Bellingham, Saka, Rice and Maguire all played well. As did the subs.
Can now look forward to Wales v USA tonight.
And of course Netherlands v Senegal next.
