3 Graham Price
4 Geoff Wheel
5 Alun-Wyn Jones
6 Colin Charvis
7 Martin Williams

19 Adam Jones
20 Barry John
21 Neil Jenkins
22 J J williams
23 Bleddyn Williams

these are my teams for all the nations but from the 21st century as it's hard to compare players from pre professional

Regardless of your personal opinions, Henson at 12. Gibbs was excellent but he was at his prime in the 90's, same with Quinnell (Ryan Jones) and Howley (Peel, Cooper, Phillips, all have had their moments).

Steyn at 10 for SA is certainly debatable, but his competition is Hougaard, James, and Koen. Out of that lot, I'll go with James, provided Montgomery does the kicking.

15. Tom Kiernan
14. Simon Geoghean (Soon to be Tommy Bowe)
13. Brian O'Driscoll
12. Mike Gibson (Wasn't a 12 but he can't be left out of an Ireland XV)
11. Denis Hickie (I may be bias because he was my childhood hero)
10. Ronan O'Gara
9. Peter Stringer
8. Willie Duggan
7. Fergus Slattery
6. David Wallace (Played more like a 6 anyway)
5. Willie John McBride
4. Paul O'Connell (Just shading Moss Keane)
3. John Hayes (Not too familiar with other tightheads)
2. Keith Wood
1. Peter Clohessey

Your Rugby Challenge Classic Ireland XV?

@Psychic Duck would you not put Kearney at 15? I know he only emerged in 08 but he was our best player on tour and probably the best fullback in the world in 09. I know Murphy was/is a genius player but despite 74 caps he never had that prolonged a run and is the most dropped Irish player of all time I'm pretty sure.

Is this guy drunk or something?

Tom Kiernan is a shoe in at 15. Not only did he get over 50 caps in a time when picking up that many was ruddy ridiculous, he also captained the Lions, played in the Munster team that beat the All Blacks, captained Ireland and was our highest points scorer for a while.

A few players I'm surprised haven't been mentioned:

Jack Kyle
Tony Ward
Ollie Campbell
Mike Gibson
Moss Keane
Donal Lenihan
Paul Wallace

Psychic Ducks team was one for the noughties which I was talking about and Cmac had Gibson and mentioned Keane.
