World Rugby u20 Championship

Surely that is a card as Curry barely leaves the ground and takes his legs out. Probably unintentionally, but is the man below meant to have duty of care? No idea of the rules around this now

Think it's primarily about legitimacy of the attempt to catch the ball.

That doesn't matter anymore in certain circumstances.

I'm pretty sure they changed it so that it's a lot easier to go in - if you're making a fair attempt to catch then it's ok. Similar to the interception situation.

Another match against Ireland another star fly half off injured with a long term injury.

That's a laughable red card. Might as well tall players have their arms amputated.

Think it's very harsh to say he led with the elbow.

Elbow making contact is not the same thing as actually elbowing someone....

Was impressed with Brand, Curry, Willis, Smith, and Lewis (apart from his card of course).
But concerned about the amount of handling errors, especially in midfield. Hopefully this is only due to so many combinations being tried and changed around in short spaces of time.

How was that NZ only a YC? Good rugby reffing is inconsistent.

Messy second half.

Personally I reckon our best team currently
1. 2. Walker, 3. Painter
4. Scott, 5. Lewis
6. Hill, 7. Curry, 8. Willis
9. Brand, 10. Smith
12. Butler, 13. Dingwall
11. Ibitoye, 14. Loader, 15. Parton

16. Oghre, 17. Knight, 18. Heyes
19. Basham, 20. Hinkley
21. White, 22. Hardwick, 23. Olowofela

Tempted to fit Olowofela somewhere, on form been better than Ibitioye so far.

Not a great Ireland u20s vintage but Caelan Doris really stands out. Shame that he couldn't be paired with Jack O'Sullivan in the backrow for this tournament.
