He was awful for Connacht last season. Maybe the change will do him good.

He was about the same for Otago / the Highlanders when he played for them 4-5 years ago. I've never rated him at all - he has got the size, but doesn't seem to know the first thing about playing rugby. He is useful to make a few metres of the back of the scrum, but he doesn't do a lot else. I think one of his major issues is that he is very injury prone, as he never seems to be able to put more than a couple of games together before getting injured.

One of the Taylors (few) strengths is his versatility - he can play 6, 8, and even lock (although at 1.93m he is slightly undersized). Because of this he can be handy to use off the bench. I personally think he may be better suited to play as an undersized lock, in the Brad Thorn mould. It will certainly take a change in mind-set from Taylor (he would need to play a tighter game, hit more rucks/mauls etc), but he always seems to get lost in the intricacies of loose-forward play to me.

richard hill is so annoying he said i think about a week ago that he was getting a new backrow who was going to make a big change to are team so there was me expecting for sergio parisse but no we get some Samoan lump, i want Sergio!

Were you actually expecting Parisse, or are you just using him as an example :p
I don't think he'll be moving to Warriors any time soon!

He was an example i would have been fine with keiran read as well
