Is there a possibility of fixing the diagonal running problem with a patch or something??

when you first installed it did you choose where rugby 08 was installed? or where my editor was installed for the rugby 08 home directory?

Screw it. I unistalled and reinstalled both the game itself and the editor with administrator rights and the editor still won't open. Is there anywhere to download the old editor?

nope thats the only editor there, the old editor would do the same.

its because you dont have write access to the 'C:\Program Files\Woosaah Ruggby 08 Editor\temp.big' file.

i am not sure but i thought when you installed the editor it asked for the home directory of rugby08. if you chose c:\program files\ea sports 08\rugby 08 directory and tried it again does that work.

i am only asking as you didnt answer my question before.

Sorry I dont know then. I dont use vista, never have so its quite hard for me to diagnose.

I had my brother take a look at it and he tells me he changed the admin rights on the .BIG files.

That seemed to work....for about half an hour.

From the little bit of the face editor I seen it's very nicely done.

Yeah there is a way to edit them in the editor.Just go to the location where you installed the editor,there you will see a teams.csv file,open it with excel or any text editor and change the following line:

101,no,allstars,The Lions to:
101,yes,allstars,The Lions

Then go into the editor and the Lions should be under the allstars tab.

i have just uploaded a new editor with a couple of thing. choice of 16 boots and if you want to show the faces or not (take the faces off if you are having problems with the editor and it should fix most problems)

thanks though sounds good, i will install the new one and give that a shot

to run as administrator you need to right click on the shortcut and click run as administrator.

otherwise it doesnt run it as administrator
