Ospreys winger Richard Fussell has signed a contract extension that will keep him with the Magners League champions until the summer of 2014.

The 26-year-old joined the Swansea-based region in the summer from Newport Gwent Dragons on a two-year deal.

But his form has been such that he has been rewarded with a long-term deal.

"I'm over the moon. It just shows the faith that the coaches have in me to do my job on the field and as a player you can't ask for anything more," he said.

Yeah, he's been good fair play to him.
Much prefer a ***le that read 'Hook & Byrne extend Ospreys contracts' though...

He's had a good time at the O's. I thought it was a bad move at first, what with the competition for the outside back spots at Swansea but he done proved me wrong.

Anyways, with Shane in his mid thirties and Byrne and Hook on their way out, what kind of shape will the O's backline have next season?

Bowe to centre perhaps?

Bowe at centre this year has looked good, especially when Hook plays at 12. I do believe he is the replacement for BOD at 13 for Ireland.

Urrrm, backline will probably look like:

9. Phillips
10. Biggar
11. Shane/Fussell
12. Bishop
13. Bowe
14. Walker/Walker/Prydie/Phillips
15. Muliaina

Meh.
