Willemse Retires

Bizarre, Lions winger Ashwin Willemse has retired with immediate effect. Weird to do it right in the middle of the super 14, couldnt he have atleast finished the campaign? ashame as hed been playing well this season, also hes pretty young late 20s i think. Anyone got any ideas?

What the hell? Oh well. This guy was a ticking time bomb from the moment he got that injury. Pretty dick of him to leave in the middle of the season though. Maybe he is a really sore loser?

Wow definitely very strange. He's only 27, and has already lost his passion to play rugby.
You can't fault his decision though, he's been on top of the rugby world and it doesn't satisfy his personal ambitions. Some people just move on, I guess.
