How is Steenkamp doing for the Bulls, haven't seen that many Bulls games owing to a busy agenda. But the few games I did see, he was on the bench, playing the last 20 minutes.

Any of the Bulls fans who can give me a heads up?

Cheers

TBH he's a substitute quality player, and doesn't have that X-factor that so many other locks possess in SA. Juandre Kruger and Flip van Der Merwe is also not helping him by playing tremendously well and are becoming a formiddable pair.

In my eyes he's always been a bit of a slacker and has never impressed me at all.

It's true he's not the most flashy lock around, but last year he did some great stuff while playing for the Cheetahs. Just was curious, not sure if he made a good choice by returning home.

Cheers

yeah well, My brother and his wife are good friends and according to her, he wasn't a happy chappy at the Cheetahs. It was inevitable that he would return to the bulls. Look he's a grunt worker, and you need a guy like him in any team, especially when it gets a bit tight. he just sometimes look like a bit of a whoosy

He was on loan at the Sharks and Cheetahs. He also captained the Cheetahs at times and was call up to the Emerging Boks squad. Bulls held on to him to keep the big depth they got. 27 Already it looks like he wasted his career a bit after so much promise.

Still one of my fav SA locks. Happy to see him start against the Chiefs.
Game of the week for me :)

he's a hard grafter, a typical engine room man, nothing more and nothing less
He is the brother of De Kock Steenkamp playing for the Stormers

Following the departure of Chris Jack, and the injury to Bekker meant that De Kock was added Vodacom WP’s side during their Currie Cup campaign. He then was included in the Stormers squad and captained the team against Boland in a friendly.
