Why not a British-Irish League?

I do not understand why there is no British-Irish League, instead of Pro 12.
The reason is that Scotland, Wales, Ireland and Italia do not have enough teams for domestic leagues. However, what's wrong with British-Irish League (including Mannin) and Continental League (France, Italia, România, Deutschland)?

Why don't you tell us why you don't think there is one.

This guy has a monster imagination!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Germany? Seriously? Even Heidelberger RK is nowhere near the level to play in a competition with teams from France, Italy or Romania.

You mean including England?

Well... judging by the morphing of the "Heineken Cup" into the "I can't believe its not the Heineken Cup", after we beat them all the time they'd huff, take their ball and go home.

Aye, we got sick of Ulster winning it every yea...oh

Exactly!

If there was a hypothetical Pro12+Premiership league, we'd hypothetically win it every year and you'd get bored....

[hypothetically speaking of course]

[Ulster - Celtic League Winners 2006 - might as well have been yesterday ye know]

2006 was the only year in domestic rugby that mattered, in my opinion.

I would be for shipping Bath and Saracens to the pro 12.

Thats a dirty action.

The world would be a nice place if it weren't for f_kkers like Stalin, Hitler and Tigs Man coming up with mad ideas that cause the suffering of millions!

Taking a selfie before camera phones were common. Proper commitment.

Exactly - now if it was a joint Pro12/Premiership, you'd have finished 2nd...

Just shows you the Premiership paid lip service to salary caps even back then.

Sure a camera phone that wasn't black and white (and I can clearly see colour) would have cost our entire squad budget. Minimum.

Where is Mannin?

In the Irish Sea, of course.

So what? Heidelberger RK would be in the 3rd or 4th division in the first years. What's wrong with that?

I do not understand why Ulster jersey is white and red. The Provincial flag of 9-County Ulster is yellow and red.

Great call. Ulster are a fraud. I hope the IRFU take note of this and force Ulster to change colours. While they're at it, they need to get Connacht in light blue and white shirts, Munster to wear navy and yellow home shirts and Leinster to don their green and gold colours.

Wait, an international 3rd division? I can't see how the teams in that one could afford to travel abroad on a regular basis.

Because that would be too much common sense! It would be the best for British rugby all round but is never going to happen. Personally I think the Pro 12 should expand and adopt super rugby style conferences. You could even have an English conference in it.

OK, it would not be possible.
So the European League structure should be:

1st Division--12 teams from all Europe
2nd Division--12 teams from the Anglo-Celtic Isles, and 12 teams from the Continent
3rd Division--Ireland, Scotland, Wales, England, France/Benelux, Italia, România, Deutschland/Helvetia/Österreich, Russia etc.

By the way, who are USAP (your red/yellow team)?
